A Veterans Day message from the Garfield Re-2 School Board

A Veterans Day message from the Garfield Re-2 School Board

As we have not convened in some time, I would like to take this opportunity to share an important message from the Board.

It is vital to recognize the countless freedoms we enjoy daily, which we often take for granted. These rights are not merely given; they are earned through the unwavering dedication and sacrifices made by the men and women who have fought for them.

The Garfield Re-2 team has committed itself to the noble task of shaping the minds of our youth. However, it is essential that we also acknowledge the selflessness of those who have served our country. It is our duty to remember and honor our Veterans every day. Their sacrifices have afforded us the liberties and comforts we enjoy today.

I urge each member of our community to express gratitude to a Veteran—not just on Veterans Day, November 11th, but every day of the year. Additionally, I want to extend my heartfelt appreciation to the Veterans who have served our nation and continue to serve our students. Your dedication is invaluable, and we are deeply grateful.  Please join me in thanking…

This is a very humble group of people that I have the privilege to work with and serve. There are many more Veterans in our community, so thank you. There are no words to express our gratitude.

Thank you all for your service, Happy Veterans Day!
