Dear Garfield Re-2 Teachers,

On behalf of the Garfield Re-2 School Board, I am writing to express our deepest appreciation and gratitude for your exceptional dedication and commitment to the students, families, and community of Garfield Re-2.
 
The Re-2 school board's vision is conveyed through the Re-2 Strategic Plan which gives you a pathway to deliver that young productive adult into our community. As members of the school board, we recognize the invaluable team effort role that teachers play in shaping the lives of our students and fostering a positive learning environment. Your unwavering passion for education and your tireless efforts to support student growth and achievement have not gone unnoticed.
 
Through first-hand observation, as I'm married to a Re-2 teacher, I've been witnessing the challenges of divisiveness and uncertainties in our community to which I receive and encourage feedback from teachers. I want to commend your resilience, creativity, and adaptability which have been truly inspiring. Your ability to keep your focus on the engagement of students ensures that every student has the opportunity to thrive academically and socially.
 
Moreover, your willingness to go above and beyond in providing personalized support to students, whether through extra help sessions, mentorship, or individualized instruction, demonstrates your genuine commitment to their success.
 
Your contributions extend far beyond the classroom walls. Your involvement in extracurricular activities, community events, and professional development initiatives further enriches the educational experience for our students and strengthens our Re-2 community as a whole.
 
As we reflect on the impact of your dedication and hard work, we are reminded of the profound influence that educators like you have on the future leaders of our society. Your passion for teaching, your compassion for students, and your dedication to excellence embody the values that we strive to instill in all members of our educational community.
