Garfield Re-2 Policies

The Board believes that custodial work is a key service in making school buildings functional and ready for use.  The school custodian is instrumental in developing good school-community relations by keeping school properties and buildings clean, neat and attractive.  The school custodian can save the district a great deal of money by eliminating waste in the use of such things as fuel, water and electricity.  

The custodian shall be responsible for eliminating any fire or health hazards and for seeing that heating, lighting and ventilating equipment are functioning properly.  The school custodian shall be responsible for requisitioning supplies and services needed to perform custodial duties through the head custodian.
