Professional Staff Supplementary Pay 

Those employees who are requested by the administration to perform additional work outside of regular school hours shall receive extra compensation in accordance with the supplementary salary schedule adopted by the Board.  This shall include coaches, pep club sponsors, band instructors, play directors, vocal directors, etc. 

When a project extends beyond the limits of the teacher’s contract year, such as summer curriculum writing, efforts shall be made to offer an incentive to the teacher that will act to supplement his or her income and/or provide graduate credit or approved academy credit for incremental increases on the salary schedule.  Determination of such financial support shall be made on a project-by-project basis and shall be contingent upon the availability of funds.  Faculty members will be selected by the director of curriculum and approved by the superintendent or designee.

Faculty members to be appointed to extra-compensation positions listed in the extra pay schedule shall be recommended by the superintendent and approved by the Board.  Appointees’ contracts shall contain an addendum outlining the terms of the extra employment,  stating the particular assignment, its duration, and the compensation to be paid.

Licensed staff will receive $25.00 an hour for all mandated committee work outside of the 7:30 to 4:30 day.  Classified staff will receive $20 an hour for all mandated committee work. This can be state, district, or building mandated committee work.
