Professional Staff Schedules and Calendars
 

The number of professional staff work days shall be established by the Board-adopted calendar.

If the Board declares a fiscal emergency during the budget year, as allowed by state law, it may alter the work year for all employees.

Teachers shall be on duty in the buildings from 7:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. each school day.  Special duties or bus schedules may require that a teacher and/or a building start earlier or end later than the above times.  Teachers shall remain on duty unless approved otherwise by building administration and be available to students, parents, and others during their planning periods.
