Patriotic Exercises

 

The Board of Education believes one’s appreciation of the country is promoted by the ceremonies and observances held in the school and that the United States flag is a symbol of our democratic heritage, ideals, and freedom.

 

Each school shall provide an opportunity each school day for students to recite the Pledge of Allegiance. Any person not wishing to participate in the recitation of the Pledge for any reason shall be exempt and need not participate.
