Student Insurance Programs

A student accident insurance program providing broad coverage at a nominal cost to parents shall be made available to all students.  Such protection, when purchased by the parent, shall cover the student while at school, on the way to and from school, and when engaged in school-sponsored activities either on school grounds or elsewhere.  Through this plan, additional insurance coverage may be purchased, which will cover students participating in interscholastic athletics.

Before any student is permitted to participate in school sports activities, insurance must be purchased, or a waiver must be presented absolving the school district of any liability for accidents.
