Supervision of Students
 

Teachers shall have the authority and responsibility for the control of all students who fall within their assigned supervision, as well as those students who are physically in their presence.  Teachers shall be responsible for supervising students during all contact hours that they are on district property and are performing services on behalf of the school district, as well as while performing such services at school sponsored activities off district property.

 

Supervision of students on school property shall be provided at a reasonable time interval before and after school.  

 

At no time shall students be left unsupervised in a classroom setting.
